Chatsworth, Ga., May 15, 2026 – First National Community Bank (FNCB), the wholly owned subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotions of Wendy Huckaby and C. Ian Tankersley, strengthening the bank’s leadership in compliance, operations, and risk management.

Huckaby has been appointed Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer, effective May 1, succeeding Vicki Knight, who retires this month after 21 years of dedicated service to the bank. Tankersley has been promoted to Vice President and Loan Operations Manager, where he will help support and enhance the bank’s lending production and servicing platforms while continuing to serve in his current roles within the organization.

“Wendy and Ian are outstanding professionals whose leadership and expertise are essential as our bank continues to grow. Wendy’s deep experience in regulatory compliance and risk management will ensure the continued strength of our enterprise risk management program, while Ian’s extensive operational and compliance knowledge will provide valuable support to our lending platforms as we execute our strategic vision. These promotions reflect our commitment to developing strong leaders from within our organization and Wendy and Ian both embody the professionalism, expertise, and community focus that define First National Community Bank,” said Ryan Earnest, President and Chief Executive Officer of First National Community Bank.

Wendy Huckaby joined FNCB in 2023 as Loan Operations Manager, where she has overseen key functions including loan balancing, reporting, and management of the bank’s loan operations team. She has also played a vital role in technology initiatives and regulatory coordination.

Prior to joining FNCB, she held senior compliance and risk management positions with both local and regional financial institutions, where she served as Compliance Officer, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer, and Information Security Officer. A Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) through the American Bankers Association, Huckaby brings more than two decades of banking experience spanning compliance, loan administration, and commercial lending. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Converse College (now Converse University) and has completed numerous compliance and regulatory training programs through the American Bankers Association and Community Bankers Association of Georgia.

“I’m honored by the confidence the Board and leadership team have placed in me. First National Community Bank has a strong culture of integrity and service, and I look forward to continuing to build upon the solid compliance framework established by Vicki Knight while supporting the bank’s growth and commitment to our communities,” said Huckaby.

Ian Tankersley has served First National Community Bank for more than 25 years and currently serves as the bank’s BSA Officer and Information Security Officer. Throughout his career with the bank, he has held numerous leadership roles including Compliance Officer, Loan Operations Officer, and Deposit Operations Officer. In his new role as Vice President and Loan Operations Manager, he will help strengthen operational support for the bank’s lending production and servicing platforms while continuing to oversee key responsibilities within the bank’s compliance, BSA/AML, and information security programs.

Tankersley holds a Bachelor of Church Music from Shorter College, as well as several professional certifications, including Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) through the American Bankers Association and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) through ACAMS, along with ABA certificates in Lending Compliance and BSA/AML Compliance. He has completed advanced banking programs through the Community Bankers Association of Georgia, the Georgia Bankers Association in partnership with the University of Georgia, and the American Bankers Association.

“It’s been a privilege to grow my career at First National Community Bank. I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on this additional responsibility while continuing to serve our customers and colleagues and support the operational strength of our lending and compliance programs,” said Tankersley.

Both Huckaby and Tankersley are actively involved in professional and community initiatives.
